Introducing a new food - particularly a priority allergen - can feel overwhelming for some families. This personalized in-home visit provides education, preparation, and supportive nursing care so your family can approach the introduction with greater confidence.
Your visit may include: education about introducing new foods safely, review of possible allergic reaction signs and when to seek medical or emergency care, emergency-preparedness education, assistance preparing the food (if needed), support during feeding and the observation period, guidance on next steps if symptoms or feeding concerns arise, and a family-centered plan for continuing introductions and maintaining regular exposure to tolerated foods.

RN and IBCLC support for families navigating feeding alongside food allergy concerns. This is a personalized service and topics may include: breastfeeding and suspected food reactions, elimination diets, helping your family prepare for introducing new foods, receiving guidance on readiness, age-appropriate preparation, possible reaction signs, emergency planning, and ongoing exposure to tolerated foods. This service is supportive and does not diagnose food allergy or replace assessment and treatment by a physician.
